Rosemarie Bjorland

Rose Marie Bjorland 73, of Fargo, ND. died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at her home under the care of Hospice. Rose Marie the daughter of Michael and Regina Weninger was born September 9, 1929 on the family farm at Selz, ND. She graduated from Anamoose High School in 1947. Rose married Burnell Bjorland on Feb. 18, 1950 in Fargo. Rose taught for a short time in a one room school house and worked at Douglas Aircraft as a riveter in Santa Monica, CA during the Korean War. She returned to Fargo in 1952. She worked as an aid at St. John?s Hospital and as a secretary at St. Luke?s Hospital. She was a very active mother involved with Campfire Girls and Club Scouts. She is survived by her husband, Burnell, three sons, Dale (Sue) Greeley, CO., Duane (Julie) Edmonds, WA., Dennis, West Fargo,, three daughters: Kathleen (David) Koch, Burnsville, MN., Beverly (Doug) Larson, Fargo, Jerri Lynn (Chris) Gruhl, Fargo, two brothers and two sisters; Jim (Evelyn) Weninger, Fargo, Wendlen (Vi) Weninger, Fargo, Magdalin (Jim) Franczok, St. Paul, MN, Julie (Dennis) Helwig, Blaine, MN, 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Nick, Francis and Edward, and one sister, Catherine Weninger, Funeral Mass: Thursday, 2:00 p.m. Sts.
