  1. Ruben worked with my Dad, Cal Eggers, on the Fargo PD for many years. I remember Ruben as one of the kindess men I’ve ever met. In fact, I took 3 years of Spanish because I wanted to help him with the help he gave to the Spanish speaking people in Fargo. I can still hear his laugh as he & Daddy would sit around our kitchen table, swapping stories. He was a wonderful family man who always spoke so lovingly of his family & was an excellent example of a professional lawman, mentor, teacher & friend to all people. I still think of him often & tell people stories about Ruben. My deepest condolences to his wonderful family.
