Santos Montes Jr, 65 of Fargo ND, passed away on September 26th 2019 at Sanford on Broadway surrounded by family. Santos was born April 30th 1954, in Weslaco Texas. The second son of TeoDora Montes and the late Santos Montes Sr. He is the third oldest of 6 children. Santos married Victoria Montes On July 2nd 1973 they welcomed 3 children together Elissa Montes- Gordon, Lucas Montes and Angel Montes before divorcing in 1987, he later remarried now Sabrina Atkins and welcomed 5 more children Mary Montes, Matthew Montes, Amelia Kulas, Sarah Aguirre and Savannah Montes. They all survive him. He is a high school graduate of Hanford high school class of 1973. He graduated along side one of his younger sisters Olga Henshaw. He had been working at Midland diesel as a diesel technician on and off for the past 4 years and he also put 6 years in at Bergs grain as a shop foreman. In spare time he did mechanic work for used-a-bit auto sales of Fargo. Santos found his passion for working on cars at the age of 17, and made it his career. Santos will forever remain in the hearts of the ones who loved him. Santos Is survived by his mother TeoDora Montes, his siblings Johnny Montes, Marie Placencia, Olga Henshaw, Susanna Alcoser, and Rachel Perreira all of Hanford California. His sons; Lucas Montes, Angel Montes, and Matthew Montes, his daughters; Elissa Montes-Gordon, Mary Montes, Amelia Kulas, Sarah Aguirre and Savannah Montes, and 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Santos was proceeded in death by his Father Santos Montes Sr. There will be a celebration of life held on October 11th at 11 a.m at st Francis in Moorhead Minnesota.

I appreciated his great sense of humor and his tremendous work ethic. I considered him a friend and I will miss him.
