Scott Hofsommer

Scott ?Hoff? Hofsommer Scott R. Hofsommer, 49, Fargo, ND, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006 unexpectedly at his home of natural causes. Scott was born July 6, 1956 in Moorhead, MN to parents, Don and Marge (Kittelson) Hofsommer. He grew up in the F-M area and attended Fargo South High School. Scott then joined the U.S. Navy and served from 1975 to 1977. Later he attended Moorhead Technical College where he graduated as an Electrical CAD Draftsman. Scott married Caren Adams in July 1990. Scott was an excellent carpenter and wood worker, and worked at various companies before becoming self-employed. We will all remember Scott for his great sense of humor, jokes, and infectious laugh. Scott loved drag racing, music, and playing guitar. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his best friend, his dog Bailey. He is survived by his son, Ben; his parents, Don and Marge Hofsommer, his sisters, Jill (Blain) Kesler, Brenda (Ed) Halloway, and Julie (Kevin) Allen, all of Fargo, ND; and many nephews; a niece; great nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends. We love you Scott, and will miss you so much! I love you Dad! There will be a memorial service Saturday at 2 p.m. at Boulger Funeral Home.
