We are sad to hear that a long time family friend has passed away. Sharon and her family were a very important part of our years in Fargo and the friendship continued after we moved to the twin cities. I had lots of memories of both our families getting together and enjoying each others company. My heart goes out to her family and friends. We will miss you Sharon!!!

My heartfelt condolences go out to Walt, Carol (Decker) Janssen and family, and Matt Decker and family for the loss of Sharon. My family lived a few houses down from the Decker’s and I am proud to have been friends with Carol for 44 years (I’m 46 now!). Our families spent a lot of time together around the kitchen table on Friday nights or going to the races. When we moved to the Twin Cities – our family friendships continued. Every Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends were either in Fargo or they came to the Cities. Valley Fair, Renaissance Festival, parades and just the endless hours of conversations around the kitchen table. I know Sharon is looking down on us smiling. Enjoying her Schlitz. My memories of Sharon and family will make me smile for a long time. I love you all very much!!
