Sharon Elaine (Lee) Kjensrud, age 69, of Halstad, MN, passed away on Sunday, October, 21, 2018 at Sanford Hillsboro Care Center in Hillsboro, ND. Sharon was born on September 24, 1949 to Claire and Helen (Halstad) Lee in Ada, MN. She attended Halstad High School and graduated in 1967. She married her loving husband, Duane, on February 24, 1968 in Halstad. They moved to the Minneapolis area where she worked for Honeywell. In 1979, they had moved back to Halstad where she worked at the Halstad Nursing Home. In the early 90’s, she worked at the Shopper, which was the local newspaper for the area. Finally, she worked at the Power House Lounge doing a variety of jobs, with the last being bartender. Sharon enjoyed time with family, riding horses and most of all, fishing. Come rain or shine, she would be out on the lake before sunrise and would stay out until sunset. Sharon is survived by her son, Michael (Pam) Kjensrud of Thief River Falls, MN; her daughter, Sheri (Scott) Eberle of West Fargo, ND, her five grandchildren - David (Martha) Edwards, Robert (Tami) Edwards, Alexis, Sonja and Chase Tomaszewski; her great-grandson, Max Edwards; her brothers, Roger (Sue) Lee of Hillsboro, ND; Ron Lee of Ada; Steven Lee of Halstad; her sisters, Shirley Macziewski of Fargo, ND; Maxine Nelson of Ada; and many nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her parents, Claire and Helen; her brother, Gaylen; her nephew, Chris; and her beloved dog, Spanky. Visitation: 5-7 PM Friday, November 9, 2018 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo – and also one hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Saturday Prayer Service: 7 PM Friday at Boulger Funeral Home Celebration of Life Service: 2 PM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo

    I attended school in Halstad, with her until 7th grade and also earlier in life we played together, along with her brothers and sisters when they lived down by the LRC. God bless you!!
