Sharon E. McGrath, 60, West Fargo, ND passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Sanford Health Palliative Care Unit, Fargo. Sharon was born October 1, 1956 in Lisbon, North Dakota to John and Mae (Lundberg) VanDeusen. She graduated from Enderlin High School in 1974. She married Steven McGrath on June 7, 1975 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Enderlin, ND. She attended Wahpeton School of Science for accounting. Later, she attended Moorhead Technical Institute where she graduated with a Computer Programming degree. She worked for Dakota Hospital as a computer programmer and spent the majority of her career at Swanson Health Products. Sharon continued to work even after her diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis. Sharon made her home near Glyndon where she enjoyed spending her time doing crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with family. Steve passed away on March 2, 2015. Sharon made her home in West Fargo until her passing. She is survived by her children, Danielle (Chris) Hillebrand, West Fargo, ND, Devin (Alisa) McGrath, Belle Fourche, SD; grandchildren, Aspen Hillebrand, Ryker Hillebrand and Addyson McGrath; siblings, Judy (Dave) Thompson, Fargo, ND, Diane (Mike) Jordet, Apache Junction, AZ, Ron (Janelle) VanDeusen, Surprise, AZ, Carol (Rob) Spiekermeier, Sheldon, ND and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Steve and infant son, Aaron. Visitation: 5-7:00 P.M. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo. Funeral Mass: 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo, ND with visitation starting at 2:00 P.M.

  1. So sorry to hear about Sharon. I have many memories of some awesome trail rides. Rides that include the Black Hills, the sandhills area, and some around their home south of Glyndon. You will be greatly missed
