Sharon Marie Vreugdenhil, 64, of Fargo, ND was called home to our Lord on April 13, 2010.
She was born on April 28, 1945 to Harold and Marie Ravn, who preceded her in death. Sharon graduated from Cedar falls High School, the Waterloo School of Practical Nursing and North Dakota State University. In 1972, Sharon married Harvey Vreugdenhil and they were together until his death in January 2008. Sharon was a Worthy Matron in Eastern Star, a chaperone and supervisor for Rainbow Girls, and was involved in Harvey’s Masonic activities. She was a volunteer teacher with the Chinese Christian Ministry and was very involved in the New Life Center, Salvation Army and the Red River Danes.
Sharon’s gentle, kind and generous spirit touched many people’s lives and left them in wonder over why she gave so much to others but did so little for herself. Sharon has found her reward in Heaven.
Sharon leaves behind her son, John Vreugdenhil of Fargo; sister, Kathrine (William) Jambura of Leesburg, FL; a niece, Stacey Jambura of Waterloo, IA, and aunts, uncles and cousins. Sharon was also preceded in death by her brother, James Ravn; grandparents, Nicholas & Clara Ilax, Carl & Nora Ravn and several aunts, uncles and cousin.
