Shelli Kasin, 64, of Buffalo, ND, passed away peacefully on April 15 at Rosewood on Broadway. Shelli was born on December 3, 1955 in Fergus Falls, MN to Russ and Lois Kennedy. She graduated from high school in Breckenridge, MN in 1974 and later attended NDSSS. She married Charles Kasin in 1992 and made their home in Buffalo, ND. Shelli had many careers over her life to include bookkeeping, floral design, welding, bus driving and also dispatching the Fargo metro bus. She spent time being active in Special Olympics and was also a past president of the North Dakota National Guard Enlisted Association Auxiliary. Shelli is survived by her husband Charles, her parents, Russ and Lois Kennedy of Perham, MN. Daughters Stephanie Beling of Fargo, and Joani (Rob) Thomas of Fargo. Sister Deb (Bob Nietzel) Kennedy, of Aurora, IL and brother Randy (Pat) Kennedy of Perham, MN. Stepchildren Carmen (Jon) Halverson of Des Plaines, IL, David Kasin of Seoul, South Korea, and Jennifer (Damon) Gooden of West Fargo as well as nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Erin Beling and by a grandson, David Kasin Jr. A private service will be held at a later date.

    I am so very sorry for your loss. Shelli was a great advocate for our National Auxiliary. I also remember her at State conferences when I was an Area V Director. She will be remembered for her Area V T-shirts she made!

  11. My condolences to your family! I lived across the street from Shelli and went to school in Breck with her. She was always so fashionable with her gogo boots and hip huggers. We had lots of fun growing up together. Rest In Peace old friend!
