I met Steve through his brother, John. I was invited to play on the same bowling team as the Remmen boys. I think I played on the same team for about 6 years. The first time I met Steve, everybody was calling him “Lurch”. I thought he’d tall and skinny so his name must something to do with his physical attributes. Then I saw him bowl for the first time, I got it right away. His approach was one of a kind. I don’t think I ever saw him angry or upset. He lived life to the fullest and he cared deeply for his family. Steve left his mark in many people and I am truly grateful to have known him. This world needs more people like him. God Bless!!!
