Steve Perhus

Steve Perhus, 55, West Fargo, ND, passed away on May 16, 2007 at Meritcare in Fargo, ND. Steve Duane Perhus was born on June 3, 1951 in Moorhead, Minnesota to Orville and Norma (Hagen) Perhus, formerly of Kindred, ND. He grew up in Kindred and attended school there until he graduated from the Kindred High School in 1969. Steve was popular and well-liked in high school and was also the senior class president. Steve enjoyed working with collectibles, especially precious metals, gems, and rare coins. He was employed at Treasure Island in Fargo, ND, and had worked there since the spring of 1980. Steve had many friends and acquaintances that called upon him daily to discuss coins, gold and silver, baseball cards, and other collectibles. He will be sorely missed by many! Steve is survived by his son, Andy Perhus; his father, Orville Perhus, Fargo, his brothers Dale (Kathy) Perhus, Carrington, ND and Marlan (Elizabeth) Perhus, Lakeville, MN, his nephews Shawn Perhus, Fargo and James Perhus, Fargo and his niece Lindsey Perhus, Carrington, ND. He is preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Norma (Hagen) Perhus. The funeral for Steve will be Monday, May 21st at 10:00am at Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, ND. There will be a Prayer Service Sunday, May 20th at 7:00pm at Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, ND with visitation from 4-7pm. Burial will be at the Perhus Cemetery, rural Kindred, ND.
