Steven died on October 12, 2011 at his home in Fargo at the age of 53.

Steven was born on February 11, 1958, the son of Harold and Margaret Rolstad in Fargo.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, and a niece.

Steven is survived by his mother, Margaret;  his brothers - Duane (Joyce), Glenn (Marlene), Randy (Lynn), David (Diane); his sisters, Doris (Gerald), Pat (Randy), Renae (Don), LaVon (Dave), Sandra (Wally), and Nancy.

He loved going to Yellowstone Park, golfing, and traveling to Medora to meet family and friends.
