Obituary

Steve W. Lauinger, 37, Fargo passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Sanford Health, Fargo.

Steve was born February 11, 1981 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He grew up in Mapleton, North Dakota. He married Sarah Gausvik in 2001. He worked for Olaf Anderson Construction Company.

Family was very important to Steve and he loved spending time in the outdoors. He enjoyed being around his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his parents, Richard (Wanda) Lauinger, Fargo, ND; wife, Sarah, Fargo, ND; children, Nicholis and Zachary, Fargo, ND; brother, Chris (Kelly) Lauinger, West Fargo, ND; niece, Paisley Lauinger, West Fargo, ND; nephew, Grayson Lauinger, West Fargo, ND; grandmother, Rose Lauinger, Fargo, ND and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion and Ray Schumacher, Conrad Lauinger; uncle, David Schumacher and cousin, Angel Schumacher.

Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 10, 2018 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 9:00 A.M.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.

    Steve was a wonderful,fun,huge hearted guy. He always had a big hug for a person. I am sure he was welcomed in heaven by loved ones there.i will miss him dearly.
