Stevie LaShay Akason, 33, passed away peacefully at home May 24, 2020, surrounded by her family. Stevie began a journey with cancer in February of 2019 and was assisted by Hospice since December of 2019. Stevie was born in Fargo, ND on September 2, 1986, to Sheila Decker and Steven Akason. After graduating from high school at Woodrow Wilson, she became a certified nursing assistant (CNA). Stevie had a genuine spirit; she was known for her kindness and selflessness. She was very generous and had a special gift for finding the best in people. Her greatest joys in life were her three children. Stevie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Donna Akason and Adam and Patricia Decker. She is survived by her parents, Sheila Decker and Steven Akason, her children, Rocco, Kyzen and Zevia, her brothers, Shevy (Erika) Akason, Skyler (Jennifer) Akason, Stormy Akason and Shayden Akason, and her nieces/nephews, Krimzen, Brooklyn, Regan, Crew, Gavin and Noah. There will be a gathering on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Boulger Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life Service starting at 6:00 PM. A meal will be served after the service in Boulger’s Celebration of Life Center. Spiritual drumming and lighting of intentional prayer lanterns will follow at Gooseberry Park, weather permitting.

I’m so disappointed that COVID made me not being able to see the you the last time🥺😣😰… The first time I got see you, at Sky’s shop, I said I’m going to marry that beautiful lady! 🤣 I loved trying to help you as much as I could! I miss you and in time, I’ll be able to see you again! 💞
