Susan Marie Buhr Lantz, 58 died peacefully at home, July 21, 2015 surrounded by her family under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. She lived in West Fargo, formally Hunter, ND. She was born April 17, 1957 to Ronald and Joanne Buhr. She graduated from Dakota High School, then attended Northwest Technical College graduating with a degree in administrative assistance. Sue enjoyed a variety of jobs, but truck driving was her passion. She loved traveling around the country stopping to sightsee. She also drove for Valley Bus. Her pride and joy was spending time with her 4 grandchildren, going to the park, BBQs, fishing, and going to the lakes. She leaves two daughters, Rochelle (Aaron) Beck, Hillsboro, ND; and Leann Lantz Fargo, ND; 4 grandchildren, Jordynn, Rayven, AJ and MJ, sister, Pat Buhr, 2 brothers, Terry (Kelly) Corrie and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steven Buhr, grandparents, Erwin and Alpha Buhr and several aunts and uncles.

  5. Sue was my best friend, a partner in crime as kids and my hero. I loved her. We laughed so much, and at some of the silliest things. She was always in a good mood. I will miss you ever so much.

  7. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Although Sue was a few years older than I was and I spent most of my time with Steve, I remember times with the whole family. So sorry for your loss.

  10. Sorry to hear of the passing of Sue. Always enjoyed our visits when she would come into the office at Direct Transport after coming in off the road. She really did love her life of truck driving.
