Tellef Junior Klemetson

Junior passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2005, at the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home at the age of 75. Junior was born on August 8, 1928, in Bloomfield Township, ND, the son of Tellef and Ingeborg (Halvorson) Klemetson. He grew up on the family farm near Hillsboro and attended Bloomfield School. After his schooling he began working on the family farm raising potatoes. Junior was united in marriage to Marilyn Erickson on March 18, 1950, in West Rock, MN. They made their home on the farm near Hillsboro where they farmed and raised their family. Junior was a faithful member of the Methodist Church, now the United Parish, in Hillsboro. Junior is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn of Hillsboro; his children, Nettie (Richard) Flieth of Hillsboro, Vickie (Peter Williams) Klemetson of Mission, British Columbia; Terry (Roxie) Klemetson of Dalton, MN; Tom (Ann) Klemetson of Hillsboro; Tony (Peg) Klemetson of Hillsboro; Veronica (Tim) Nundahl of Sabin, MN; Cindy Klemetson of Hillsboro; and his foster son, Jim Briss of East Grand Forks, MN. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; his brother, William (Teddy) Klemetson of Bismarck, ND; his sister-in-law, Harriet Klemetson of New Brighton, MN; his brother-in-law, Rev. Stanley Anderson of California; and several nieces and nephews. Junior was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Art and Hansel; sisters, Helen and Thelma; and his granddaughter Angie Klemetson.
