Teresa Marie Nissen Jochim, 52, passed away on August 28, 2020, after a strong battle with cancer. Teresa was born in July 18, 1968 in Moorhead, MN to Donald and Rosie Nissen. She graduated from Fargo South High School in 1987. Teresa married Jason Jochim on August 14, 1992. She was an employee of Marvin Windows for the last 12 years. Prior to that, she was a stay at home mom and wife, which she loved dearly. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, baking, camping, and spending time with her family camping or at the lakes. She will be remembered for her baking and the love she had for her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her husband Jason Jochim, daughter Megan (Brent) Young of West Fargo, ND; son, Spencer Jochim of West Fargo, ND; and her grandchildren, Wyatt and Haddie Young; mother, Rosie Nissen of Ashby, MN; brother, Thomas Nissen of Washington State; and mother-in-law, Jean Jochim of Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Nissen; and her father- in-law, Jerry Jochim.

  8. I am so saddened to hear this. My deepest condolences to her family. I worked with Teresa at Marvin, and even though it’s been a few years now, she left a lasting impression. Heaven truly gained an angel…RIP beautiful soul.

I enjoyed keeping up with her family and friends. I will miss not being able to ‘talk’ to her on Facebook. I will always remember you and love you Teresa.

  15. Teresa was a colleague of mine for many years. She cared very much for the people in her department and took her job very seriously. We didn’t always agree, but we could always have honest discussions. That’s rare these days. I will miss her laughter, her smile, and her conviction. We have lost a good one.
