Theresa Siemieniewski, 84, formerly of Lisbon, ND, died Friday, November 25, in Ecumen Scenic Shore Nursing Home in Two Harbors, MN. Theresa, daughter of John and Theckla (Sutyla) Ciesynski, was born May 28, 1932. She married Joe Siemieniewski, October 18, 1955. Theresa is survived by her daughters, Rose Ann (Tim) Schlaht, and Caroline (Randy) Mueller, both of Fargo, ND; one granddaughter, Cindy (Mike) Proulx, Two Harbors, MN; two great-granddaughters, Lyla and Ruby Proulx, Two Harbors, MN; one sister, Agnes (Marc) Jensen, Bowling Green, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Rita (LeRoy) Metzen; brother, John (Gerry) Ciesynski; and many other family members. Visitation will be from 6-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo, ND. Visitation will continue from 9:30 -10:30 AM followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 30, at St. Anthony’s Church. Interment will be in Geneseo, ND.

  1. Our deepest sympathies in the loss of your Mother. She always sat near us in church & was such a friendly lady. She always treated our son, Dustin, extra special. Gave him cards & small gifts as he was growing up. Theresa was just a genuinely nice & caring person.
    She can now be with the angels.

  10. So very sorry to hear of Theresa’s passing. What a special lady indeed! Caroline and RoseAnn, your mother will be missed by many. Such a sweet lady and she was always so kind to us neighborhood kids. I remember her infectious laugh and sparkling eyes. Always had a HELLO and a wave for us! May she rest in peace.
