Thomas Ernest Hills, 90, Moorhead, MN passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo. He was born on July 6, 1928 in Fargo, ND to William and Grace (Mares) Hills. Tom grew up near Wheatland, ND. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served for over six years when he was honorably discharged. Tom worked in construction for most of his life. Upon retirement, he and his wife, Pat, traveled and went on mission trips to help build churches and work on bible camps. They also spent a lot of time at the lake where he enjoyed fishing. Tom loved listening to books on tape and spending time with his dogs. He was such a wonderful man; he would do anything for anyone. He had a wonderful, sweet, spirit. He loved his family very much. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Pat; daughter, Barb Hills; son, Steve (Julie) Hills; stepchildren, Scott (Karen) Disher, Dale Disher, Corrie Downing, Jim (Sara) Disher; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Kay Hills; and three siblings. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior. Burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Lankin, ND.

    I am out of the country and just received an email from Cleo saying Uncle Tom had passed. I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry I didn’t find out before the service so I could have sent flowers. My mom would have wanted that. Blessings to you and your families as you walk through this difficult time.
