Thomas Westerholm

Thomas M. Westerholm, 54, Fargo, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 in his home after a short battle with cancer. Thomas M. Westerholm was born May 15, 1953 in Fargo, ND, the son of Duane and Beverly (Fields) Westerholm. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Shanley High School in 1971. He attended North Dakota State University. While attending NDSU, he worked as a salesman for Plunketts Furniture. He married Patricia J. Dodds on February 24, 1978 in Bismarck, ND. They made their home in Bismarck where he was a manager for Conlins Furniture. They returned to Fargo where he worked in management for the Corwin Auto Group before taking a position as District Manager for American Financial Automotive Services on June 15, 1988, where he was employed until his death. Thomas is survived by his wife Patricia; two sons, Thomas and Jamie, at home; three brothers, John D., Omaha, NE, Bill (Dee), Fargo and Douglas (Marilyn), Fargo; his mother-in-law, DeLaura Dodds, Watford City, ND; brothers-in-law, Steven Dodds and Jeffrey Dodds, Thomas Dodds, all Watford City, and Michael Dodds, Billings, MT; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Tom led a full life. He was able to travel extensively. He loved to play golf, hunt, and pretty much anything to do with the outdoors. He especially loved his time at his lake cabin. The thing Tom loved most was his wife and sons. He will be missed. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. ? Friday, June 8, 2007 ?
