Tracy Ellen Perhus

Tracy was born June 13, 1963 and was called home to heaven on December 10, 2018.
She attended Kindred High School and graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN with a degree in Psychology. For most of her life, Tracy called Fargo home but lived for the past several years in Carrington, ND. She worked in a variety of roles during her life, including co-owning a business and retail, but enjoyed her time most in the healthcare and mortgage industries. Tracy never played it small and was aptly given the nickname, “Tiger”, by her dad. She was always a presence wherever she was and in all of her ventures. She enjoyed the outdoors, being active and had a soft spot for all animals. Those who knew her remember her for her passionate creativity, big smile and joyful laugh.
She is preceded in death by her father Raymond and infant brother John, and survived by her mother Norma, and siblings Rochelle, Robyn (Steve), Ray (Jill), Joan (John) and Dawn (Michael) and her buddy Sadie.
She loved being an aunt to Kyle, Mikey, Natalie, Josie, Charlie, Sydney, Grace and Ellis. Tracy also leaves behind beloved cousins and many friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tracy was a precious lady with such a big heart. She loved deeply and truly desired to make others happy. I will miss her.
I was saddened to hear about Tracy’s death. She was our neighbor for awhile and we really enjoyed getting to know her. When our paths crossed she would always ask about my children and wish us well. She was a lovely lady. Our condolences.
I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Tracy passing. Tracy and I worked together for awhile in Carrington and she was always friendly and cared about people.

Tracy and I worked together at the hospital and nursing home. She was always so friendly, bubbly and cared for people. Many loved having her around. I am sorry for your loss and our loss too. May God bless your memories so they bring comfort and peace.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Tracy while working at the hospital in Carrington. She was always so friendly and kind. She had a wonderful laugh that automatically made a person smile. I would see Tracy here and there throughout the years and every time we ran into each other she was always so cheerful and sweet. She always remembered the names of my kids and always asked how they were doing. She had a good heart! Many prayers to the family during this difficult time.
To the Perhus Family, we are so sorry to hear of Tracy’s passing, I worked with Tracy many years ago at The Title Company in Fargo, she was such a hard worker and so pleasant to work with, we had many good times also as a work family. I’m so sorry to learn of Tracy’s passing. I remember Tracy when she was the receptionist at the Title Company and I was the UPS driver that delivered to her office. Tracy always had a big smile and always made my day when I saw her. My deepest condolences to the Perhus family and friends of Tracy’s. I’ll have you in my thoughts and prayers. I’ve known Tracy since she moved to Carrington. We celebrated family 4th of July gatherings at our cabin & there was never a dull conversation. She also adored our kids. When our pathes crossed again these last few years we picked up right where we left off, full of smiles & laughs. Tracy & I went to a community Christmas program together last Christmas. I hold that memory close. My deepest sympathy to a sweet soul gone too soon.
My heart is broken at this news. Tracy was always a beaming, radiant light to me. Her smile and laugh were infectious, and I often thought that she should be a standup comic. I wish I had had more time to spend with her. After high school, like so many other friends, we lost touch. My sincerest sympathies go out to the Perhus family. I had the opportunity to work with Tracy at the nursing home in Carrington. Such a kind and caring person. Her laughter alone would induce smiles for all that heard it. Tenants at the assisted care facility spoke highly of her, enjoying her bubbly personality and her efforts to make their lives better. Tracy had so much vitality. She never saw me without calling my name and giving a big wave and smile. When she worked at the nursing home, the residents commented how nice she was. She not only cleaned for them, but also did little extras. I am deeply saddened to lose her.

Our sympathy to all of you in Tracy’s family and circle of friends. Tracy joined our church family, Trinity Lutheran in Carrington, while we lived there and Anne worked at the hospital with her too and enjoyed good conversations with Tracy. You couldn’t meet Tracy, at church or at work or in the community, without a bright comment. She was a very friendly person, and brought a lot of joy to people in her daily encounters with others. I know she had her struggles, like we all do, but we also know and remember the love of God who came in Jesus to forgive us and accept us into heaven. Tracy just transferred her smile to heaven, just in time for Christmas! Peace be with all her friends and family.
