We know there are many memories of Trevor you have etched in your heart that can never be taken away. 7. Jay, Jeannie, and family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most terrible time. There can be no greater loss in life than that of a child, no matter what their age or the circumstances. I can’t begin to imagine your heartache. I only can offer these few words of comfort.

Eliott reminded me of all the Legion baseball games and Pirate football games that were played and the fun they had those years. He played both with Trevor despite being younger and remembers him fondly.

It is thoughts such as these that will keep his memory alive for ever.

  11. Minot ND
My deepest condolences to Trevor’s family. I grew up north of McGregor with Trevor’s father Jay, his aunts Betty and Carol, and his grandparents Jake and Edna Skarphol as family friends. I watched my own niece and nephews in their activities at Tioga High School. Trevor was in baseball with the Tioga Legion team and I really enjoyed the games I watched with Jay doing the announcing. May God give you hope and help you in the time ahead. From an old McGregor friend, Ila Lovdahl, Minot, ND

  12. Tioga North Dakota
    Dear Loved Ones of Trevor,

What can we say that hasn’t already been said or written? All we can do is mourn with you on your great loss.
Trevor was such a sweetheart and my boys said he was like their brother..In fact, I think they called each other brother!!!

Sometimes things are easier to bear when you know friends care and we do so much.

Losing a son is so very hard to bear and we know after losing Brian to Alzheimers.

May the love of family and friends bring you peace and comfort and the saying is “God only takes the best”..

Hoping our deepest sympathy bring you comfort in some small way.

    Your neighbors and friends,
    Gail De Moe and family

    Skarphol Family,

We got to know Trevor through Cub Scout Pack 276 at Bennett Elementary, our son was in the same Pack as his son, Jaxon. Trevor was always a dedicated father and was always there to give Jaxon and the other Wolf Cubs a helping hand. Trevor will be missed by many, may Jaxon and his family find comfort in the many memories they have.

    Sincerely,

    Jane and Robert Holtz

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
