  1. I am so very sad to hear of her passing! I so miss my dear friend, Verna! She was truly a wonderful coworker and a kind person! She made my life better every day we worked together and every working day for me since she retired in 1991. Verna helped me become who I am.. be honest, be caring, be human… She took her job seriously at Social Services and had compassion for all the people who came through the doors.. clients and staff! She is already missed.

  2. I am so sorry to learn of Verna’s death. We first met when she and Howard came to Neche where I lived. Howard was our Superintendent for many years. They attended the Methodist Church where I was a member and we became good friends. We both eventually ended up in Fargo and both attended Faith Methodist and renewed/continued our friendship. We enjoyed lots of great visits! She will be missed. Actually, her 2 sons went to school in Neche with my kids! Verna was a great lady and I will really miss seeing her. My sincere sympathy to Don and Todd and their families. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Don & Todd & families,
