Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. How do you put into words. When you lose someone, you have known your whole life. So many memories.
One thing that always stands out the most. Vicki’s smile and her laugh. Vicki was always so caring, and wanted to know what was going on in your life. And was so proud and supporting.
During those conversations in the last few years. Would always go to, a remember when story. We would tell one memorie after another. And would end with Vicki saying, “oh, Scott it was so nice to see you, please tell your family hello”.

I will miss seeing your smile and hearing your laugh. Bye Vicki, I will miss you.

  2. My heart breaks for the family of Vicki. We were childhood friends and later we reconnected when my daughter was in St. Lukes Hospital in Fargo. She was there for me when I needed someone to uplift me and someone to talk to. Vicki was a fun& sweet gal. She loved her son more than can be imagined and know that she loved her grandchildren even more. She was so proud of Jeff. I’m sad that Ididn’t keep closer contact with Vicki the last few years. Now we will have to wait until my time on earth is thru before we can meet and reconnect with each other again. My prayers and thoughts are with the family of Vickie, God rest her soul.

  3. Our sympathies to Vicki’s family. We got to meet Vicki because Larry worked with Jeff at Camrud and Foss. She was a very special lady.

  4. So sorry to hear of Vicki’s passing. We were friends in high school, had lots of fun together and put lots of miles on her parents car. Memories have resurfaced of our friendship so much fun but sad that she is no longer with her family. We had lost contact over the years but she will be missed by many. Rest In Peace Vicki you are with your son now.👏😢 From an old friend Kathy

  5. I will miss Vicky. There where many of times I picked up the phone and called Vicky. She was always so kind and caring. Words can’t express how much she will be missed. Praying for the family.

  6. Gosh this hurts my heart so much. The last I spent time with Vicki was with Jeff’s children and her. She was so special and we became instant friends and I thought about her for days after spending time with her that day. She instantly caught my attention as the most fun loving lady ever. I am so sad. She is now with her Jeff and that means the world to me. Rest in peace beautiful soul.

  7. I hear more and more great stories of how Vicki touched so many lives, she was caring, loving, kind and fun. Everytime I seen her she was so nice and easy to talk to. She always cared how I was doing and my kids. I met her through my sister, April. She and April made so many memories that I love hearing about, memories that will be cherished forever. Vicki is April’s birth mother who April became very close to over the last 20 years. If I could thank Vicki for one thing, it would be for giving April life to then be in mine. ♡ Please keep April, her four grandkids, brother and sisters and family in your prayers to comfort them in this difficult time.

  8. My dear sister and friend, I remember looking into your bassinet when you were born in 1953 and I went into mom and dad’s bedroom and cut my hair…and cut up the curtains as well. Something new was happening! You were a beautiful child and I cherish the photos I have of us growing up. You were the lady who liked dresses. I preferred pedal pushers and garb for climbing trees and hanging on the monkey bars at the school playground. I cherish the times we were kids and adults who laughed so hard our stomachs ached and we cried. You had a gift for engaging people and making them laugh. When you joined us at women’s weekends at B. L. my friends loved being in your presence and D.P. said, “I wish I had a sister like Vicki.” Beloved, know you will live in many hearts because of your attention and care to others on Earth. Rest now in blessed peace. Love forever, pen s

  9. My heart is broken. I have lost touch with Vicki since she left Sanford. We were always just an email away from each other, when both working here. To read the comments about her, I completely agree. She had a gift for reaching out to others, for genuinely “hearing” what we were trying to say. She provided love and comfort and encouragement to me in 1979 when I was going through a terrible life experience. It was Vicki who listened with an open mind and heart, and encouraged me to see a counselor. It is in no small measure that I think she may have literally saved my life.

My thoughts and prayers with her family, her daughter, and her grandchildren whom she loved so dearly.

Now she is reunited with her son Jeff, which brings some comfort to those of us grieving the loss of her. Rest in peace Vicki. You touched so many lives. Our gift to you could be to treat others, the way you treated us.
    With love, Anne

  10. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Vicki’s family. She was a genuine and caring person with a great sense of humor. We both have fond memories from our high school days with her as a classmate.

  11. My dear friend, Vicki. Her family lived next to us in Harvey. I have known Vicki a long time. Like so many others have said, she had an infectious laugh and she listened with her heart when together. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and employee. Who wouldn’t want Vicki working for you, work was her passion and her safe place. I like to think I had some influence on her moving to Fargo as I suggested it when in Harvey one time. And we lived in Fargo at the time. Her life was shattered when Jeff was killed. We can hope and believe that she now has peace in her heart. That is the true comfort. My love to you dear friend.

  12. I am so saddened to hear of Vicki’s passing. I met Vicki while working for Sanford in occupational health. She always said she was one of the only people who could get excited about “pee”. She always had a smile on her face and I am going to miss her so much. Rest in peace Vicki.

  13. Its hard to find the right words to help with a loss like Vickey. She was bright, funny,an always willing to listen. I found this poem that reminded me so much oh her; You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back or you can open your eyes and see she’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she’s gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your back or you can do what she’d want smile open your eyes love and go on. WE WILL MISS HER BUT CHERISH THE MOMENTS WE GOT TO SPEND WITH HER. FROM ALL THE STAFF AT MEXICAN VILLAGE

  14. I am very saddened to hear of Vicki’s passing. I worked with Vicki at Sanford. She is a wonderful lady who left a lasting impression on my life. She truly cared about you and what was happening in your life. We shared stories about my children and her grandchildren as well as the rest of our families. She really took the time to get to know you and had a knack for saying just the right things. I cannot say enough good things about Vicki. I really felt like I could tell her anything without judgment. Her wonderful sense of humor brings a smile to my face and I am lucky to have known her. Please rest in peace Vicki, you will be missed.

  15. Barb
Vicki you are so missed and to say you touched the lives of many people is 100% correct. I only knew you for a short time, but with a personality bigger than your physical body, I can say you were a dear friend. Rest in peace

  16. My deepest sympathy to the family of Vicki. I will be unable to attend the celebration of the live of Vicki, as I have to work. . It was a honor and privilege of knowing and working with Vicki. I worked with her at Sanford. No matter what questions or what time of day or night, one of our team members called her she was always very supportive, pleasant and happy to help out. Vicki was one classy lady, with her bubbly personality, sense of humor, smiles and her laughter. She touched and left a footprint on many lives. She will be greatly missed and will forever remain a wonderful memory. .

  17. I was shocked and saddened to hear about Vicki. She was my manager at Sanford, and was the kindest, sweetest boss I have ever had. We shared so many great conversatioms, laughs, and stories together. Going to work was fun with her there. Prayers and strength to her family. RIP, dear Vicki..
