Vicki Jane Rada, 61, Fargo, ND passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on June 11th, 2020 at Eventide in Fargo, under the care of Hospice. Vicki was born August 17, 1958 in Breckenridge, MN to Wayne and Donna Dietz. She graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1976. On August 25, 1990, she married the love of her life, Gary Rada. On that day she also became the proud stepmom to Kyle, Annie, and Amy. After high school Vicki continued her education at NDCSC. She graduated in 1978 with an Associate of Science Degree. Vicki had multiple jobs before starting her own business in 1992. Vicki and Gary opened WeeKare ChildKare Center and never looked back. They worked very hard and built the business from the ground up. She was extremely proud of this accomplishment. Vicki was passionate about many things! Family, friends, scrapbooking, flowers, wine, online shopping (especially purses) and entertaining on their deck. One thing that would always put a smile on her face was talking about her grandchildren. She was so proud of all of them. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Vicki is survived by her husband of 29 years, Gary; parents Wayne and Donna Dietz of Fargo, ND; stepson, Kyle Kragnes of Fargo, ND; stepdaughters, Andrea (Bob) Burner of Kindred, ND, Amy (Keith) Friend of Dilworth, MN; grandchildren, Jackson, Jordyn, Emma, Kacie, Brody, and Cooper; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.

  1. Oh, our dear friends….Gary and Vicki…Ray and I are just sick at heart over hearing of Vicki’s passing.
    Words cannot even express our sorrow and sense of loss of this angel in our lives. As God welcomes her into heaven, we pray that you, whom she loved so much, will make it through this life without her. You know that would be what she would want. Gary aka Bear, we had lots of laughs outside of work as well. Vicki had a heart of gold and truly was a very special lady.   7. Gary and family I am so saddened to hear of Vicki’s passing. She graduated with my sister but many fond memories growing up. Visited her at Eventide and kept in touch via facebook. What a wonderful, kind person. Even with all her struggles she remained positive and jovial. Heaven gained a good one. May you all find peace in knowing she is in Gods hands and free of pain and suffering.
