Vincent L. Olson

Vincent L. Olson Moorhead, MN Vincent passed away on Friday, April 1, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fargo at the age of 66. Vince was born on July 5, 1938, in Hawley, MN, the son of Harry and Ellen (Carlson) Olson. He grew up in this area and received his education. He graduated from Hawley High School. After his schooling he proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1956 until 1958. Upon his discharge he returned to this area and began his career as a truck driver. Vince was united in marriage to Phyllis Brummond and two children were born to this union, Michael and Kimberly. Vince first drove for International Transport of Audubon, MN; later for Red Owl of Fargo, ND; and finally for Bison Transport of Winnipeg. Vince is survived by his children, Michael P. Olson of Moorhead, MN; Kimberly J. Jackson of Hopkins, MN; his long time companion and best friend, Lois Olson; and her children, Brenda (Eric) Schoen of St. Michael, MN; John Webber Jr. of Moorhead, MN; and Chad Webber of St. Michael, MN; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his mother, Ellen Olson of Detroit Lakes, MN; his brothers and sisters, Harvey (Shirley) Olson of Buffalo, MN; Gail (Marvin) Zimmerman of Moorhead, MN; Beverly (Roland) Morton of Audubon, MN; Roland (Loretta) Olson of Moorhead, MN; and Donald Olson of Fargo, ND; and several nieces and nephews. Vince was preceded in death by his father, Harry.
