Virgil Boeddeker Sun Lakes, AZ Virgil passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 17, 2004, at North Side Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA, while visiting family. Virgil was born on October 14, 1919, the son of Henry and Florence (Laugersheimer) Boeddeker, in Traill County, North Dakota. He grew up in this area and attended Herberg School. He began farming at an early age in the Halstad - Shelly area. He was united in marriage to Alice Orvik on October 27, 1951. They made their home in Halstad. She passed away on July 17, 1972. They owned and operated the Drive in and Motel in Halstad. Virgil was united in marriage to Elenore See on January 23, 1976. He retired and they have made their home in Sun Lakes, AZ, since 1977. Virgil is survived by his wife, Elenore of Sun Lakes; his step sons, Don See of Colorado Springs, CO; and Randy See of Atlanta, GA; his 6 step grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters, Eugene (Gloria) of Mayville, ND; Henry (Marilyn) of Little Falls, MN; Agatha (Loren) Helmeke of Fargo, ND; Lucille (Walter) Gadberry of Clover Land, CA; and Marie Orvik of Ada, MN. Also surviving are his sisters in law, Shirley, Doris and Carol; and several nieces, nephews, and other very dear relatives. Virgil was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice; and his brothers, Bernard; Hubert; Wilfred; and Cletus; and his sisters, Beatrice Berg; Cecelia Lusso; Otilda Anderson; and Edith Sorum.
