Virgil I. Larson Hillsboro, North Dakota Virgil passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home at the age of 82. Virgil was born on February 17, 1924, in Bloomfield Township, near Hillsboro, the son of Edward and Marie (Bjornstad) Larson. He grew up and received his education in this area. Virgil was baptized, confirmed and a lifetime member of Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. He joined the North Dakota National Guard and was stationed at Camp Grafton. He was a member of the American Legion. Virgil farmed in Bloomfield Township until his retirement in 1989. Virgil was united in marriage to Selma ?Sally? Finstrom in Buxton, North Dakota on October 25, 1952. They spent many winters in Arizona. Virgil was a lover of animals and wildlife, raising wild turkeys and gardening. Virgil is survived by his loving wife, Selma ?Sally? of Hillsboro; brothers in law, Henry Finstrom and Carl Finstrom; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Leighton (Evelyn) Larson, and Malcolm (Cele) Larson; and his sister, Celeste Robles. VISITATION: 5-7 PM Friday, April 14, 2006, at Wildeman Funeral Home in Hillsboro ? and also one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Saturday FUNERAL: 2 PM Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro BURIAL: Riverside Cemetery in Hillsboro Arrangements entrusted to the care of Wildeman Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
