I got to know Virginia as a coworker and friend at the hospital in S Fargo and we did not call each other by our first names, I called her Ashley and she called me Streeter after our home towns in German country North Dakota
. I admire her courage through her battle with Cancer. You ran the good race and you win Virginia.

I enjoyed getting to know Virginia over the past 5 years. We lived in the same apartment complex until she moved to the Evergreens. She was such a sweet lady and I enjoyed visiting with her. Virginia, you are loved, and will be missed. May you rest in peace. To the family of Virginia- may you find comfort and peace during this difficult time. Blessed be her memory!

I came to Food Services when it was Meritcare and Virginia became my friend. She was always happy, never complained even when it was just the 2 of us, as the Hosts serving the entire SU hospital.I will miss her SO MUCH. We ate many a lunch together, had a few beers together, many, many laughs! Not a day has gone by that someone from Sanford asks me about her .She touched so many. She loved her job at the hospital and came to visit as often as she could.
My Virginia, may you rest in peace, and I will miss you always! Peggy

So saddened to see the passing of a good friend and classmate. I always enjoyed the company of Virginia. Always in a good mood and laughing. And the sparkle in her eyes told me she was enjoying the laughter we shared with our friendship. She was a very good person. My sons loved going to the bakery she worked at many years ago as she would point out the “tasty” baked goods to them.

Although Virginia was only with us for 5 months, we all grew to love her in such a short time. We are so happy she was able to have a 60th birthday party here so she could spend time with family and friends. All of her friends in the Cedar Cottage will miss her dearly. Her scrabble mate, Karen, will miss their daily games. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
