Virginia Sauvageau

Virginia K. Sauvageau, 63, passed away in Palliative Care, Meritcare Hospital, Fargo, on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. Virginia Flaten was born to Ellard A. and Lilly E. Nelson Flaten on November 12, 1944 in Mayville, North Dakota. She grew up there, coming to Fargo in her early teens where she attended Fargo Central High School. Virginia Flaten and Donald Sauvageau were married in Fargo in 1968. She has lived in Fargo since then. She is survived by her children, Heidi Goodwin, Fargo; Holly (Jim) Annear, Fargo; Dawn Sauvageau, Fargo; and Michael (Mindy) Sauvageau, West Fargo; her mother, Lilly Flaten, Fargo; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her sister, Gloria (Ronald) Olson, Fargo; her sister Linda (Mike) Lau, Fargo; her sister, Janice (Roger) Dahl; and her sister, Tammy (Randy) Surerus, Fargo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her father Ellard, and her brother, Dennis. Funeral services will be Friday 1:00 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, Fargo with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
