Winona ?Jean? Kelly Winona ?Jean? Kelly of Fargo passed away to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 8, 2006. She was born June 16, 1933 in Corinth, MS as the oldest of 2 children to Arlin and Berenice Davis. Jean graduated from Alcorn High School in Corinth before moving to Memphis, TN to attend and graduate from business college. While attending school and working in Memphis, she met the love of her life, Orville ?Orv? Kelly who was stationed there in the Marines. Jean and Orv were joined in marriage on November 17, 1956 at St. Peters Cathedral in Memphis. Upon marriage, Jean and Orv moved to Fargo to make their life together. Jean worked at T.N.I. and with the Fargo Airport Authority for many years, but was most proud of being a homemaker, devoted wife, and a truly loving and caring Mom and Grandma. Jean enjoyed crossword puzzles, crafts, old movies, bargain shopping, and gardening. She was an incredibly giving mother and grandmother who was so attentive to all of the details and wishes of her family, friends, and those that knew her. Jean was an active member of Holy Spirit Church and servant of the Lord. She volunteered countless hours at the church as well as at St. Vincent de Paul to help others. There was always an open door to her southern hospitality, home and heart. She will be cherished, missed, and forever loved by all those she knew and touched. She is survived by her husband, Orv; son, Shawn Patrick (Kristi) Kelly, Warrensburg, MO; daughter, Tamera Jean (Derek) Sunderland, Fargo; five grandchildren, Kaitlin Kelly, Kristin Kelly, Davis Sunderland, Dylan Sunderland, Dallas Sunderland; brother, Stanley (Cathy) Davis, Corinth, MS. Memorials are preferred to Father John Smith Heritage Fund. Visitation: 6:30 ? 7:30 p.m. ?
