Wanda L. Bailie, 82, Moorhead, MN passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her home.

Wanda was born March 6, 1930, the daughter of Orville and Vina (Granell) Long. She attended school in the Clarkfield area. She married William Bailie on December 16, 1948 in Hazel Run, MN. The couple made their home in Moorhead. Bill passed away in 1999.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, son, David, daughter-in-law, Bonita and sisters, Orvella and Beverly.

She is survived by her children; Bradley Bailie, Waupaca, WI, Nancy (Gordy) Wagner, Crosslake, MN, Robin (David) Goble, Fargo, ND, Lonnie (Vicki) Bailie, Glyndon, MN, Tamera Tabery, Moorhead, MN, siblings; Darris Long, AZ, Bonnie Dyrdahl, Fargo, ND, Buster (Donna) Long, St. Cloud, MN, Dennis (Gail) Long, Madison, MN, 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Wanda was always very kind to us and very welcoming. Her home was our home. Our world today needs more people like Wanda Baillie and homes such as hers.

Always felt at home and had fun with the Bailie family. Got to see her a lot when I was still living in Fargo and working at Moorhead Herbergers. She was always smiling and laughing and enjoyed visiting with her. She will be missed!!

    I know Wanda will be greatly missed by all of her family. She was truly a fun, loving person whom I have known for over 50 years. When my twins were small Wanda would come over in the evening and we would sit and fold dozens of diapers. Many other great memories of our times together. I hope they have a bingo parlor in heaven……

    .I am so very sorry for you’re loss! Wanda was and will always be such a great lady! I always admired her, and would laugh about her funny comments she made when she didn’t like something, but she had humor about alot of things. I will miss her, even though I haven’t seen her for quite awhile, and will have good memories! My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this sad and difficult time! I know that you will treasure all of the great memories!

I never met her but feel she must have been a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother because she raised a wonderfully kind and loving son in Brad.
