Willard "Bill" Desotel

Willard ?Bill? Desotel, 67, Wild Rice, ND, died in MeritCare Hospital on Sunday, May 15, 2005. Bill was born May 30, 1937, in Fargo. He attended St. Benedict Catholic School and later Wahpeton School of Science. He married Luella ?Lou? Mortenson on February 11, 1961, at St. Benedict?s Catholic Church in Wild Rice. Lou and Bill owned and operated Bill?s Bar in Wild Rice for over 16 years. He is survived by his daughter, Laurie (Dana) Olson, Clifford, ND; son, Tom (Stephanie), Horace, ND; his mother, Annette Desotel, Elim Nursing Home, Fargo, ND; one brother, Jerald (Patricia), Horace, ND; and three wonderful granddaughters, Jordan, Clifford; and Chelsi and Tori, Horace. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lou; his father, Leon; one brother, Thomas; and one brother in infancy. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, and Wednesday in the church one hour before the service. There will be a prayer service Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Benedict?s Catholic Church, Wild Rice.
