William Bernier

William Joseph Bernier, 86, Fargo died in his home on July 31st, 2006. William Joseph Bernier was born on March 10, 1920 in Fargo to Albert and Anna J. Bernier. He grew up in Fargo, attended St. Mary?s Elementary School and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy, Fargo. He then graduated from NDSU with a degree in business after which he attended UND and received his degree in accounting. He returned to Fargo and has lived and worked here as a CPA until retiring in 1985. William spent his summers at Pelican Lake for 50 years. He was a life-time member of St. Mary?s Cathedral. He was also an active member of the ATO Fraternity and served as their accountant until 1990. He is survived by his nephew, Jim (Patt) Johnsen, Alexandria, MN; nieces, Cheri Carricaburu, Scottsdale, AZ; and Cathi (Doug) Benkert, Bloomington, IL. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Bernier Johnsen. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 3rd, from 6-7 with a prayer service starting at 7pm at Boulger Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Friday August 4th, 2006 at 2pm at St. Mary?s Cathedral in Fargo. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, North, Fargo, ND Arrangements by Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND
