William "Bill" Miller
March 28, 1944 ~ July 16, 2017
Bill Miller, 73, Fargo, ND, formerly of Battle Lake, MN, died peacefully Sunday, July 16, 2017 after a short illness at Sanford Hospital. He was born on March 28, 1944, in New Rockford, ND to Benita (Bennie) Lies-Miller-Stein and Marvin (Barney) Miller.
Bill married Karen Kost on January 26, 1963 in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Fessenden, ND. During their life together they lived in: Carrington ND, Harwood ND, Minneapolis MN, and Battle Lake MN. He was employed as an electrical contractor and electrical salesmen for over 50 years. Well known for his talent and ability to fix anything, Bill also had a heart of gold and he generously extended himself to those in need.
He leaves behind his daughter Lynette (Marlin) Miller, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren brother Marvin Miller, sisters Janice (Dennis) Kanwischer and Kathy Scheer along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his wife Karen, son Damon, his parents, a brother, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law.
Visitation and prayer service are Wednesday, July 19, 2017 with visitation 5-7 pm and a 7 pm prayer service at Boulger Funeral Home (123 10th St. S. Fargo, ND 58013). The funeral will be at 11 am Thursday, July 20, 2017 in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Fessenden, ND. Internment will follow at Fessenden Hillside Cemetery.

Bill was our neighbor at Stalker Lake, MN he was a wonderful man and always patrolled our side of the lake to make sure we were all safe and would let us know if something was wrong. He will be missed by all of us out at Stalker Lake our prayers go out to his family.
