Winifred "Winnie" MacFarlane

Winifred ?Winnie? MacFarlane, 80, Grandin, ND, passed away in the Hillsboro, ND Hospital on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Winifred was born on September 5, 1928 to Neil and Nellie (Fugate) MacFarlane. She grew up in Grandin and graduated from Grandin High School in 1946. Winnie lived on the family farm and worked in the Grandin area. Her family began farming in that area in 1879. She is survived by her brother, Neil MacFarlane, Casselton, ND and her brother, Roland MacFarlane, Grandin, ND. The funeral for Winifred will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Grandin Presbyterian Church, Grandin. There will be a prayer service in the Wildeman Funeral Home, Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home and one hour before the funeral in the church on Friday.
