Woodrow W. Everhart, 85, of Star Lake, Dent, Minnesota died in his home Friday August 20, 2004.
Woodrow Everhart was born June 13, 1919 to Joseph and Martha (Gudarian) Everhart in Fargo, North Dakota. Woodrow attended Fargo Central High School and grew up at his parents? restaurant and rooming house in Fargo. Woodrow served in the US Army during WWII and received a medical discharge from a tank maneuver accident. Woodrow married Teenie (Mary) Kaveney April 19, 1941 and lived in Fargo until 1976. Woodrow worked at Northern States Power in Fargo as a trouble shooter until 1976 when he retired due to a medical condition. Woodrow and Teenie moved to Star Lake, Dent, MN after he retired.
Woodrow is survived by his two daughters, Barbara (Douglas) Swisher, Kindred, ND, and Sandra (Robert) Hoel, Fargo; one son, Brian (Diane) Everhart, Dent; and one adoptive son, Richard Guyer, Star Lake, Dent; and seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Woodrow is preceded in death by his wife Teenie; his parents; two sisters, Joshephine Paseka and Emily Everhart; and one brother, Walter Everhart.
The Memorial Service for Woodrow will be Tuesday, August 24th, at 11am, at Fredrikson Funeral Chapel in Kindred, ND. Burial will follow at the Kindred Cemetery.
