Yvonne Lindblad, 80, Fargo died on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in Fargo.
Yvonne was born March 23, 1939 in Drake, North Dakota to Eugene and Katherine (Walz) Olson. She graduated from Drake High School before attending Interstate Business College in Fargo. She worked as an operator for the phone company where she met many life long friends. She later worked for Fargo Public Schools, retiring in 1999.
She married Ron Lindblad on December 5, 1964 in Moorhead, MN. They made their home in Fargo, ND.
She is survived by her husband, Ron, Fargo, ND; children, Shawn Lindblad, Minnetonka, MN, Tess (Rick) Bergenheier, Sharon, ND; 3 grandchildren, Abigail and Lucas Bergenheier and Nate Lindblad.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Tanya, brother, Robert and her step-dad, Jarold Fraser.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Vonnie was my second “Mom” growing up and my heart is aching. I will never forget how wonderful of a person she was and jovial. Her infectious laugh brings a smile to me. I’m so sorry Tess, Ron and Sean! No words can express my sympathy for you at this time.

To a old neighbor from West Fargo of many years ago. I am sorry to hear the loss of your wife. I’m sure she was a wonderful person. Ron and i go back to the days when West Fargo had gravel streets,look at it know. My prayers are coming your way.
