Was there for 2 funerals, not a happy occasion, but the place seems to have their stuff together and the families were pleased with the service.

Jim and Larry were so incredibly helpful when my father died unexpectedly in Nevada. They helped in so many ways from arranging for him to be flown to North Dakota, to the funeral arrangements in Hillsboro. My brother and I are so thankful for all their knowledge and help during this difficult time.

In the time when everything seems to be in great upheaval, Boulger's really set my mind at ease. Knowing that their excellent staff would handle all the fine details was a great relief for me and my family. Every request was immediately handled. I wanted to honor my Mother with a perfect, meaningful service and a joyous celebration of Life and Boulgers made sure my requests and details were honored with respect and sincerity.

Boulger Funeral home couldn't have been easier to work with in a very stressful time. They made the process so easy for us by handling everything. Since they've been around for generations, they knew exactly what our needs would be. When we requested something from them the answer was always that it had already been taken care of - We didn't have to worry about anything and could be with family.

Michele and the staff of Boulger were kind, efficient and professional ... but several additional qualities stood out during our memorial and prayer services.
They would recheck many times that all the information and planning was exactly as we had discussed with them.
Their technology services were exceptional ... providing a high quality video of photos to remember our loved one; making a video of both services for the family to share at a later date; editing of any needed changes were made quickly as they worked together with our family. This efficiency made our planning easier to complete.
We felt supported when we had questions and appreciated advice when we requested help. AND all of this went smoothly through the April snowstorm of 2019.

Boulger Funeral Home made the entire process and emotional ordeal so much easier to manage. Knowing there was someone we could trust to take care of every last detail gave us the time to grieve without worrying we missed something important.

We appreciate how quickly everything took place, yet there was no lack of compassion, respect or attention to detail. It meant a lot.

I can’t say enough good about a business that no one really wants to have to work with. In the most unfortunate circumstances I have lost two fathers in two years and Boulger has taken very good care of us. The staff is respectful, caring and thorough to make one the most difficult situations a little easier and beautiful at the same time. They not only want to genuinely know about the family member that has passed, how to best honor them and our wishes moving forward to celebrate the life of the loved one.

The last thing anyone wants to do is plan a funeral for their mother. But I am so happy I made the choice to make prearrangements with Boulger Funeral Home. I was worried it would be too sad, but planning the details was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The owner listened to my wishes and made planning a funeral seem more like a celebration of her life – which is exactly what it should be.

When it came to the day of my mother’s passing I was at ease knowing every last detail would be handled and I had nothing to worry about. The staff was very sensitive and offered the support I needed to get through an emotional day.

Losing my mother was one of the hardest things I have had to deal with but entrusting Boulger Funeral Home to honor her life was the best choice I could have made.

Jim and his staff were incredible during the planning of my grandfather’s funeral. Although preplanning had been done, there were still decisions to be made and I was guided through the process with great care and respect. There was constant communication and they took the time to answer any and all questions promptly. The day of the service, the staff in attendance were kind, calm, and so incredibly helpful. I always felt like everything was completely taken care of at all times. I highly recommend Boulger Funeral Home.

I don't normally leave 5 star reviews but when someone delivers a service that I can't imagine how they could have been better, than I give them the rating they deserve. We were out of towners looking for a fast cremation for our father, so we could get back home with his ashes. Marty was great helping us do it quickly and at a very good value. His demeanor was right on and he helped us through the process as good as could be imagined without any hope of repeat business. If he was located in our state I would never look anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Jim, Larry, and team at Boulger Funeral Home, you truly go above and beyond to help lessen the loss for families. Know we are so grateful for all of you.

For decades, the Boulger family has run a top-notch business. We have always been impressed with their compassion, attention to detail and responsiveness. I cannot imagine working with a better service-oriented operation. They even provide thankyou notes with the photo of your deceased loved one on the cover, something that both the family and the recipient appreciate. Thanks Larry and Jim and all your hard-working employees for making a tough time so much easier!

Anyone who wants great service I’d HIGHLY Recommend talking with Jim Boulger and his team. Our family unfortunately lost our father on August 30th, none of us have ever planned a funeral before. Jim made the experience as painless as he possibly could and anything we needed he was there to answer our questions. Never felt pressured into anything we weren’t comfortable with and he was always very understanding. It’s a situation no one looks forward to being in, but just know you’ll be well taken care of at Boulger Funeral Home.
