If No One Answers If you knock on my door and no one answers Doesn’t mean I’m not at home I’m probably downstairs doing this or that Or Just busy being alone If you call and I don’t answer Doesn’t mean something’s wrong with my phone I may choose not to talk right then Because I’m busy being alone If you wave to me downtown And I don’t wave back Doesn’t mean I’m mad at you, or anything like that These days my mind is in a million places, and I may not see ‘Cuz I’m just too busy being alone…with me So please don’t be concerned, I’ll be OK You see, the lights went out on me last week And now I’m just trying to find my way It won’t always be like this I’ll be back again someday But for now please understand This is what I need to heal ……at least for today.
