  11. Bufflo ND
I taught with Dave at CCHS beginning in 1994– such a sweetheart. I used to tease him and say if there is a blizzard and I can’t go home, I was coming to stay with him and I wanted satin sheets. He would smile and say your wish shall be granted. The struggles are over for him and for the family. Peace to all.

  12. Wadena MN
    Pam,

My sympathy to you at this sad time. Although we never met, we communicated a number of times, as our husbands shared the same diagnosis. My husband, Roger, died four years ago, after suffering from Picks disease for ten years. Our journeys were so similar with our husbands being the same age, both were teachers, Scandinavian and Lutheran.

I’m sure that this is a time of great sadness for you, but also a time of relief. Knowing that David no longer suffers from this undeserved disease has to bring you peace.

I would like to hear from you, Pam, when time and energy allow. In the meantime, know that you are in my prayers. God speed.

  13. West Fargo ND
Pam sorry we could not attend the gathering today, Saturday, as we already had an out of town engagement. We do send our sincere wishes to you and the family in your loss of David.
What a loving promise is contained in the Bible at John 5:28-29. A wonderful hope for the future, to see David once again. The joy of being able to dance once again with David, and him having the joy of two granddaughters. The Bible holds the truth about life and death and answers all of the why questions also. With care and concern, Ron and Lillette

I have been holding you and your family in prayer since I heard if David’s death. I will never forget him singing in worship on Chrisymas Eve as those songs of faith never left him.
