Guestbook

  1. Dorothy was a Great person.
She helped at St. Anthony all the time with Benediction.
She is greatly loved and will be missed.

  2. I will miss caring for your mom. She was a very special lady. She talked highly of all of her family. Take care Jennel

  3. Dorothy was a wonderful mother-in-law, visiting us almost every year during birthday week (my wife’s, Dorothy’s, and my son’s) before becoming unable to travel. Carla and I marveled at Grandma’s ability to induce our infant son to nap, and I especially looked forward to her “nulicious” (nutritious & delicious) salads at holidays.

  4. Dear Maria , I am terribly sorry, for the loss of your mother. My deepest sympathies to your family. Jane DuBord-Hill

  5. I met Dorothy the year I taught Eric in second grade at St Anthony’s in Fargo. Eric was a delightful, gentle soul and when I met his mom, it was easy to see why. Dorothy was kind, supportive, open and generous. She was a quiet woman of substance and we were all better for having known her.

  6. Dorothy was our next door neighbor at Stonebridge Apartments for many years. Together, she and I went to Moorhead to get our hair fixed every Friday. Oh, how she loved to play cards on Wednesdays! She will be missed by many. Our condolences to your family.

  7. My most sincere condolences to the family of Dorothy. We were working for the Fargo Police Department at the time I met her. She was a very lovely gal and I am sure will be missed by her family and friends.

  8. Heartfelt condolences to the family. I met dear Dorothy when she was with the Fargo Police and always a great assist on police reports when I worked at Noble Adjustment Company. Precious memories forever in my heart and so glad our paths crossed in life. God’s Peace and we now have a special angel watching over us💐✝️

  9. I am so grateful to have met this wonderful lady when I was her grandson, Brian’s kindergarten teacher. My thoughts are with all her family.

  10. Dorthy was an amazing woman to work with at the Fargo Police Dept. She earned the nickname Captain Dot when she ran the records dept. When I was activated for the military she sent me a letter every week and care packages to share with everyone. God bless you Captain Dot, and thank you for your service.

  11. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. My Dad and Stretch were best friends for over 70 years and I got to know Dorothy through healthcare. She was always protective of her “little” brother. I always loved seeing her and catching up. She certainly was a special lady.
Will send prayers that the reunion in heaven was a glorious one.

  12. I have many warm childhood memories of the Burmeister home. Dorothy was always a strong, steady, and kind Mom that you could depend on. It never seemed to matter that I wasn’t one of her own children, she was nurturing to all who were lucky enough to know her. She will be greatly missed and her legacy of love and kindness lives on through her children and grandchildren.

  13. Your mother will be greatly missed. I enjoyed working with her everyday! She will always have a special place in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss, your family is in my thoughts.

  14. I’ll always remember Grandma as an individual who truly cared for me and wanted the best for me and all her other grandkids. Wish I could be there right now.

  15. Dorothy was such a pleasure to see her and the gang at FPD records. We always had a great conversation and maybe a story or joke….they made that part of my day enjoyable. Fonder memories of a fine lady. Rest in Peace.

  16. My fondest memories of my Aunt Dot was our Family dinners at Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. What a beautiful family we have! We all can aspire to be like Grandma Pauline, Uncle Dick, My Mother Helen and of course Aunt Dot. My deepest sympathies to Maria, Eric, Carla, and Heidi. Love to you all.

  17. My sincere condolences to the lovely family of Dorothy Burmeister Dorothy was a well poised, gracious and classy lady, a good friend and always smiling. We worked together at the Fargo Police Dept back in the mid 70’s. We had a lot of fun together with work, gatherings and outings. She was also my coffee server at my wedding in 1982. So many great memories. She was devoted to her family and family meant so much to her. Hold all your precious memories close to your heart always. Rest in peace Dorothy.
