Grace will surely be missed at Twin Towers and especially by us on the 5th floor. She was such a good friend and neighbor and we enjoyed her so much.

To the Family of Grace Sweeney,

My sympathies to you in the loss of Grace. She was a class mate of mine.I am sorry to lose another dear classmate! It will be 78 years this May that Grace and I graduated together in 1935 from Lisbon High School. I have many fond memories of her along with our wonderful high school experiences.

    Grace’s Mother, Signe(Jaer) Rasmussen,
rented one of our apartments in Lisbon that my husband Maynard Hitchcock and I owned.

I wish I could attend Grace’s funeral, but I do not drive to Fargo anymore. The senior bus does not go that day. My children will not be available to give me a ride.

Be assured that you will be in my thoughts and prayers for your loss of Grace. May your wonderful memories help you through this sad time.

Hope you will place an obituary in the Lisbon paper. The Ransom County Gazette does allow for a shortened obituary with out a charge.

If you would like to call and ask me about my memories of Grace and our High School years. Or about my memories of her mother Signe when she rented from us, please, call. My number is 701-683-5879.

    Sincerely,

    Evelyn G. Hitchcock
