Keith enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He liked watching television and movies and listening to music. columbus GAIt is impossible to sum up in words just how much love and respect that I had for Keith. GOD put Keith on this earth for a reason, one of them being to add meaning to my own life. Keith was given a cross to bear in this life, and I am confident that GOD is rewarding him in grand style in heaven, right at this moment, for all the many things he endured on earth. Keith, you touched more lives than you ever could have imagined. You will be in my heart forever. Your pal, Susie

So sorry to hear of your families loss. I knew Keith from a business I shared with my sister Vicky Sunde. We became friends of Keiths through our business and he charmed us with his interst in what he wanted to be each Halloween. We did our best to full fill his wishes for costumes each year so he could be someone not restricted by his limitations due to his disease. It was always an important day in his life. I share in your loss.

    Sincerly,
    Bobbie Krag

    Norma and Jolene,
So Sorry to hear of your loss of Keith. It is with fond memories that I think back to the little boy that my mom (Lillian Ellenson) cared for. Even as a small child he touched our lives in his special way. He has never been forgotten. My mom passed away recently and I’m sure they will connect again in heaven. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.May God give you strength in the days and weeks ahead.

What a blessing Keith was to me and my family. From the first time I met him at my dance store he has and will always be special. From the times we went to a movie, had him to our home, going to his special parties, and his late night phone calls all the Halloween costumes, I can’t express enough how he enriched my life. Ketih taught me one of the greatest lessons I have ever learned. I’ll share it now, as I have with many of people through the years. One day he came into our store and was crying. I asked him what was the matter. He said he walked by the the school and the small children were laughing and making fun of him. I told him they were so young and didn’t understand. I told him “Keith why don’t you just walk on the other side of the street”. I will never forget him answering : You don’t have to walk on the outside of the street”. I of couse, was trying to take away the hurt if he avoided them. But, the lesson was mine, that know one should have to walk on the other side of the street.
Keith was special, and so were his family and caretakers. May be rest in peace. God will hold him dearly, that I know for sure.

Detroit Lakes Mn.Dear Norma, Jolene and family,
We are looking forward to celebrating Keith’s life with you and his family at his Memorial service. We feel very blessed to have known Keith the last 30 plus years when Suzie and he first met in Junior high and became friends.
Keith taught us a lot about the crosses he carried on a day to day basis due to his Sturge Weber Syndrome. It was not easy but he rarely complained and dealt with it with dignity and bravery. I remember him telling me about seeing Jesus when he had an (out of body) experience during a near death crisis. I am sure that experience helped him deal with his crosses on earth and prepare him for meeting his Lord in Heaven. God will have a higher place in Heaven for Keith who carried his cross on this earth.
Goodbye Keith hopefully, God willing we will all be together in Heaven

Keith has been part of my week for the last eight years. It took a while to know and understand his ways. After a time I found we were a good fit and enjoyed my time with him. I have many good memories and got to know the tender caring side of him. Its going to take a while to get used to not having him part of my life. He is missed already but I know it will get better with time. For the first time in his life he is completely independent with no one telling him what to do, hurray!
