Mrs. Geerdes was my home ec teacher at Kindred High School. She was a very nice lady, and I’m thankful for everything she taught me about sewing and cooking! I’ve used the skills often as a wife and mother of four. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for the loss of Lila.

We so loved Lila. We met her when Rick’s mom, Mabel Feldman, lived at Lincoln Park. Whenever we visited, we ate lunch with Mabel and Lila. Lila was the first to wave, smile or greet us in some way. She made us feel so welcome. We just loved visiting with her. I remember the day Mabel passed away in April. Lila came to her apartment that day to visit and I had to tell her that her friend had died. Lila just cried and cried. They were dear friends.
In the short time we knew her, we developed so many great memories, I can only imagine what you, as her family have, with your lifetime of Lila. So precious and blessed are memories.
God Bless the life of Lila Geerdes.

Detroit MichiganMy condolences to the Geerdes family. Please in your spare time, read Luke 7:12-16 and notice how Jesus was moved with pity, so that he resurrected someone. Yes he will do this again on a grander scale, in the near future, with the help of his father. So soon you may see your loved again, doing what she loved and you enjoying her again. Please may you and your family, find some comfort from this, in your time ahead.
