  1. Golden Valley MN
We had hoped to attend the funeral, but considering the weather and our age, we decided against the long trip.

We will miss cousin Norma at Lake Lida. We have many memories of Don and Norma over theyars, as well as many wonderful memories of her parents, Art and Gunholde Grant Laske.

Norma was a wonderful lady. She was a good hostess, and always welcomed company at her cottage.

Love to her children and grandchildren. We will grieve with you all, not because of her because she is in a better place now with Don, but we grieve with you for our loss of such a fine friend and relative. Con and Marie

“Serenaded by angels, up to the throne
Serenaded by angels, finally at home
Surrounded by praises, to the King
Welcome to Paradise, the angels did sing”. Words to a song by Kirk Talle. This was sung at my Mom’s funeral and the words just bring a feeling of peace knowing that she is with loved ones.

  6. Maplewood Minnesota
We will miss Grandma Norma very much. Especially Pat, since she was one of the very few women who thought he is attractive.
Although we didn’t see her very often, just knowing she was out there with her wit and wisdom was a joy. She maybe didn’t appreciate my kids calling her Grandma Norma since they referred to Don as Uncle Don, but I hope she thought it was a term of great love, because it was.
