Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. James was my mother’s brother. We looked forward to his visits to Washington and his entertaining auctions. He enjoyed collecting odds and ends. He didn’t always receive money for items. In fact he gave most of the finds away. Uncle Jim was always generous. In the his later years he sent surprise gifts of select meats. One time he sent my sister Heidi a “refrigerated box of meat” dropped off on her front porch. Only thing was she was down in Southern California at that time. Fortunately I received a call from her neighbor so we could rescue the gift. We will miss his poetry and two dollar bills. He was a faithful Catholic. He will continued to be in our prayers.

  2. My sympathies to the Hebert family. Jim was such a devoted soul. He sang with the Holy Spirit Jubilate choir for many years and was always ready to join in – ever faithful. His poetry was a gift that we all enjoyed! I am blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace Jim! Cece O’Keefe
