Abe Penner

Abraham “Abe” Penner, 85, Fargo passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at ManorCare Health Services, Fargo.
Abe was born on June 5, 1931 in Langdon, North Dakota to Jacob and Caty (Veer) Penner. He attended school in Langdon before entering the U.S. Army on June 30, 1954. He married Vivian Penner on October 28, 1971 at Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo. He owned and operated Abe’s cleaning service for several years, retiring in 1995.
Abe was an avid bowler and bowled for many years at the Bowler and enjoyed wood working.
He is survived by his son, Chris (Bobbi) Penner, step-children; Monty (Judy) Meyer, Janie (Don) Grindahl, Rick (Martha) Meyer, Kevin (Mary) Meyer, Lisa (Steve) Kimbrell and Carl Penner, Boni Franklin, Jeannie Fitzsimmons 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Vivian and several siblings.
Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 1:00 P.M.
Another cousin passed into eternity. I well remember playing at the family farm. I was more the age of Nick and Isaac. MayGod comfort your hearts.
