In loving memory, we chose to celebrate the life of AJ Martin on Thursday September 29th with a visitation from 6:00-7:00 and a prayer service beginning at 7:00 at Boulger Funeral Home. We will continue his celebration into a new journey Friday, September 30th with a visitation beginning at 1:00 followed by a mass at 2:00 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Alfred John Martin was born September 26, 1985 in Fargo, ND to Al and Carol Martin. The entire world exclaimed, “They finally had a boy”!

He grew up being tortured by his siblings while still enjoying football, TMNT and tractors. During his teenage years, he loved tormenting his sisters, hanging out with his niece and nephews and especially spending time at “the land”.

AJ spent his adult years working various construction jobs throughout the region. He enjoyed music (jamming with his friends on the drums), spending time with his family, mocking in the park and claiming to have written certain well known commercial jingles. If you were lucky to know AJ, you would know his huge heart and his love for the family and friends in his life.

AJ is survived by his parents, Al and Carol Martin from Fargo, ND. His sisters, Kate (Tony) Pfau, Lucy Martin, Sarah (Curt) Wilhelmi, Becky Martin and Mary (Kyle) Migler. He was proud to be an uncle to Matthew Andris, Sophia and Sam Wilhelmi, Andrew Martin and Adam and Ben Migler. He had many friends he would call family as well. AJ was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Al and Ione Martin and Hollis and Doris Page, along with his niece Grace Wilhelmi. He will also be joining his beloved pets Koda and Gene.

Memorial donations can be made in AJ’s name to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
