Albina Knutson, 99, Fargo, North Dakota, died on July 19, 2019 at Bethany on University, Fargo, North Dakota. Albina was born June 1, 1920 in Bloomer Township, MN to Domino and Alma Fournier. She attended grade school in Minnesota. On August 24, 1937 she was married to Oscar Knutson and they made their home west of Argyle, where she helped take care of the farm. Then in the year of 1960 they moved to Warren, and in 1973 moved to Fargo and then the last 10 years she lived at Bethany Homes. In 1972 she lost her husband to a heart attack. She liked to sew and make quilts, take care of her garden and flowers, and her farm animals, and go to the movies on weekends. Albina is survived by her daughter, Faye, grandchildren, Don (Becky); Dennis (Cynde); and Terry (Missy); granddaughter, Shelly (Mike) great-grandchildren, Zach (Jenna); Ryan (Taylor); Kyle (Tara); Tessa (Charlie); Rebecca; Brandy, Chris, and Emily. Albina was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, parents, son, Raynold and Norman, her brothers, Mag, John, Donald and sister Clarice, and son-in-law, Louis Pokrzywinski. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo.
